Please click HERE to download a longarm quilting order form.

Pricing starts at $.015 per square inch for a simple free motion meander with 5 - 7" spaced all over pattern. Most patterns with shapes such as hearts, flowers, swirls and bubbles with a 5-8" spacing are $.02 per square inch. Price increases for more detailed or densely spaced stitch patterns. Please refer to the price sheet for a full list of pattern options and rates (this will be uploaded soon).

There is a $50 minimum for all quilting services due to the time and care involved in preparing and loading each quilt onto the frame.

Trimming and binding services are also available - see the order form for details.

Our average turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, though this may vary depending on the season and project volume. If you have a firm deadline, please contact the owner in advance to confirm availability.

Backing and Batting Overage

We require 3-4” of fabric and batting overage on EACH side of your quilt. Think of the extra material like a longarmer’s “seam allowance.” You may not see it in the finished quilt, but it plays a big role behind the scenes! We use it to baste the batting, allow the quilting pattern to run off the edges, and use as a testing ground when we start, stop, or swap out bobbins. This extra fabric becomes part of our workspace, so it may not be in any shape to be used again. If a bit survives, that’s a pleasant surprise, but it’s best to assume it’s gone on to a better place. All of it helps us make your quilt top look its absolute best.

Quilt Prep
Remove any loose or excess threads that might show through.
Remove any pins, buttons or other embellishments that could break a needle.
If your quilt is directional, please place a safety pin at the top of the quilt top and backing.
Top, backing and batting (if client provided) should be brought in un-sandwiched. Each piece should be folded or rolled separately.
Backing should be pressed for a neat finish.
Press all your seams thoroughly.
If your quilt top or backing is not pressed, we reserve the right to press it, and an hourly pressing fee of $20 will be charged.

Longarm quilting machines operate at high speeds, and improperly pressed seams can lead to bumps or ridges causing uneven stitching, or skipped stitches in thick seam areas. Poorly pressed seams — especially bulky or twisted ones — can cause excessive friction on the needle and thread, leading to thread shredding or breakage, which slows the process and can damage the quilt. Bulky seams can jog the machine off path or even damage needles, feet, or the longarm head. With well pressed seams, the quilt lays flatter and the longarmer can stitch more precisely, which is especially important for digitized or intricate patterns.

No Smoking

We do not accept quilts from homes where smoking occurs. Smoke odors, even faint, can transfer to other quilts and materials. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

No Basting

Every now and then, a quilter starts out planning to quilt their project on a domestic machine and uses spray basting (or anything sticky) to hold everything together. But then life happens, and plans change - totally understandable. We’re always happy to help when you need us. That said, basting spray and our longarm machines don’t get along. The sticky residue isn’t great for the internal parts of our equipment. We’re happy to use your quilt top, but we’ll need fresh batting, and we’ll take a close look at the backing. If it’s too sticky, we’ll kindly ask that it be washed and ironed, or for a replacement.

Size Matters
The widest our machines can handle is 120” of backing fabric, which means technically a 112” quilt top is our maximum quilt width. There are no limits on length. Contact us if you have concerns or your quilt is right around these measurements.
