Semi-quincentennial Patriotic Quilt Contest

We’re honoring 250 years of American spirit, creativity, and community with a Semi quincentennial Patriotic Quilt Contest! Whether you love stars, stripes, or a touch of sparkle, this is your chance to show off your red, white, and blue quilts.

From May 19 through June 20, our shop walls will be filled with your patriotic quilts. Customers will vote for their favorite, and the winner will receive a $100 My Quilty Pleasure Gift Card!

Here’s how it works:
Create & Enter: Submit your patriotic-themed quilt by May 12, 2026. Quilts can be any size suitable for hanging. At least one part of the quilt should be made from fabric purchased at My Quilty Pleasure. All patriotic fabric, including patriotic wide backing fabric, will be 20% now and through the duration of the entry period.
Space is limited! We can display only 20 quilts, entries will be accepted as they are received. 
Vote: For every $10 spent in-store between May 19 and June 20, shoppers will receive one ticket to cast a vote for the quilt of their choice. 
Win: The quilt with the most votes wins a $100 gift card!

Quilts will be available for pick up after June 25 so you can proudly display them for your Independence Day celebrations!

Rules for Entering a Quilt:

•          Only 20 quilts will be accepted. Quilts are accepted in the order received.
•          At least one part of the quilt should be made from fabric purchased at My Quilty Pleasure.  All patriotic fabric, including patriotic wide backing fabric, will be 20% now and through the duration of the entry period.
•          Quilts must be delivered to My Quilty Pleasure by May 12, 2026. 
•          Quilts will be displayed May 19–June 20, 2026 and available for pickup after June 25, 2026.
•          Some quilts will be hung using clips on a curtain rod, and some will be hung using small pins pushed through the fabric.
•          By submitting your quilt, you give permission for photos of your quilt to be shared on social media and in promotional materials.
•          You must have your name, e-mail address and phone number clearly written and attached to the back of the quilt.
