Keep your favorite dishes warm and travel-ready in style! In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll create an insulated casserole carrier, perfect for potlucks, family gatherings, and holiday dinners. You’ll learn techniques for working with insulated materials, adding sturdy handles, and finishing with neat seams for a professional look. Functional, practical, and oh-so-cute!


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Some sewing experience needed.
Requirements: 1 yard outer fabric, 1 yard inner fabric, 2 yards of 1" webbing, 1 yard Insul-Bright, 22" of sew-in non-adhesive ¾" Velcro, one piece of batting measuring 36" x 42", and 505 Spray. Please bring your sewing machine, full bobbin, cutting mat, rotary cutter, frixion pen or other marking item, 6.5 x 6.5 ruler, and 6" x 24" ruler.

Instructor Bio: Diane Swanson is a recent addition to the wonderful community of Columbia. She began quilting in the late '90s and has been passionate about creating all kinds of quilts ever since. With a background as an elementary school teacher, Diane loves combining her two greatest passions, teaching and sewing, to help others grow their skills and creativity.
